D-3 Star In The East Mid Month Show and Tell

Month Four - Star In The East Mid Month 4 Progress

Wonderful block 4 "Star In The East" completions.

Enjoy the variety!  So may talented and creative quilters...

I think Esther would be very happy about this project...after she got over the shock!
Be sure to visit the tab on this blog to read more about Esther. (HERE)

The SVBAQ quilt is also included in the book, "Homefront and Battlefield Quilts & Context in the Civil War" by Madelyn Shaw and Lynne Zacek Bassett  (HERE)
A wonderful library addition for information on the quilt and civil war textiles.

Be sure to visit our Blogging Friends that are also participating in the Sew Along!  Click on the pictures of their blocks below and it will take you to their block page. Check back often as we will be adding more links over the next week or so.

Return here at the end of the month and see more photos of new block finished from Months 1-4.

Happy Stitching!
Dawn & Doreen

  4. Just ordered the pattern. I couldn't resist this beautiful quilt. No matter how hard I tried! Everyone's blocks are beautiful. My only hope is that my blocks turn out half as good as the ones I see here.
